Christmas Fayre Brings Festive Cheer to Mount Battenhall Retirement Village

Festive spirit filled the air at Mount Battenhall Retirement Village as homeowners and guests came together for the much-loved Christmas Fayre. With a fantastic selection of locally sourced gift ideas right on their doorstep, the event once again proved to be a highlight of the festive calendar.

Guests enjoyed warming mulled wine, delicious mince pies and hearty festive baps while browsing a variety of stalls and soaking up the seasonal atmosphere. The fayre also featured a wonderful range of unique stalls, from handmade candles to striking abstract artwork created by our very own sales consultant, Debbie.

A special raffle was held in support of Acorns Children’s Hospice, and thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, a fantastic £180 was raised for the charity. Congratulations go to Mount Battenhall homeowners Mr and Mrs Mitra, who won the festive hamper full of seasonal treats.

Adding an extra touch of Christmas magic, guests were delighted by a joyful performance from the Red Hill C of E Primary School choir, whose festive songs were warmly received by all.
