Freedom Living
The Red House

It’s the perfect time for a trip to Ripley Castle

Large stone House on a hill with a lake in front of it.

As the weather finally warms up, there is a fantastic choice of local attractions and beautiful locations to choose from for a day out. The 700-year-old Ripley Castle is around 12 miles away, offering amusing and informative guided tours, and the opportunity to wander the magnificent grounds, with its lakes and deer park. The extensive walled gardens come into their own in spring, when you can admire 150,000 flowering bulbs and the beautiful National Hyacinth Collection.
