Mr and Mrs Bradley Celebrate Their Marriage at The Red House

Dave and Jill, who have both lived at The Red House retirement village, married on Saturday 29 July 2023 at Harrogate Registry Office and The Red House team were honoured that they chose to hold their wedding reception afterwards at the village.

They were joined on their special day by family and friends, as well as the owners and staff from The Red House. Family came from afar including Thailand, Canada and Spain and from all corners of the UK.

Dave and Jill have known each other since their Thirsk Grammar School days, after which, each followed their own path in life, but met up again through being members of a Thirsk Website Group. Jill was staying with her sister in Ripon and Dave was looking for some female expertise in selecting curtains for his new home at The Red House and Jill stepped in to help, their love blossomed, and the rest is history.
